INTRODUCTION

Mr. Rajmal Munot Over 40 years of exceptional service in the copper tube industry has allowed MANDEV TUBES to strengthen and expand its commitment to you.

In the mid 1964’s, MUNOT Group, one of India’s leading enterprise groups, entered the Non-Ferrous Tubing industry."The success of the group is the result of sincere efforts by Mr. Rajmal M. Munot who promoted the MANDEV TUBES."

In 1965, at Umbergaon, India, MANDEV TUBES started its first redrawing plant.

In 1990, the group started making integral finned tubing.

In 1995, MANDEV rejuvenated the plant with one of the India’s newest and technically most advanced Vacuum Type Bright Annealing Furnace with controlled inert atmosphere.

In 1999, MUNOT Group started manufacturing copper capillary tubes, and started catering many multinational OEMS in India.

In early 2000, the Group got involved in producing copper system tubings and fittings, for air-conditioning and refrigeration industry.

We have added in January 2005, Eddy Current Testing facility to manufacture and supply defect free Copper Tubes (Free from Dents, Slivers, Cracks, Hairline flaws & Pinholes etc.)

MANDEV caters copper tubes for plumbing, heating and air conditioning & refrigeration industries in drawn and annealed tempers and in wide range of diameters and wall thicknesses.

MANDEV is committed to document the effectiveness of the company’s quality assurance system, and backs the effort with stringent SPC (Statistical Process Control) programs. Rather than inspecting quality “in” at the end of the production operation, the SPC program ensures that MANDEV’S personnel continually check the tubes as it moves throughout the manufacturing process.

Quality programs throughout the manufacturing process assures that following sophisticated quality controls and inspections are executed:
1) Advanced lineal and axial testing equipment inspects finished tube;
2) Quality assurance lab technicians randomly pick and check product samples during production;
3) Numerous dimensional and property checks are made at each step of the production process; and,
4) Weekly quality assurance meetings for all personnel ensure critical standards and bring about new ideas to further enhance product quality.
