GENERAL APPLICATIONS FOR COPPER TUBES
Cold drawn seamless copper tube that has excellent corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity and ductile properties is produced in a wide range of forms. This, includes round, rectangular, elliptical and square with a round bore as depicted in photographs below. These shapes can be produced in phosphorous deoxidized non arsenical copper C106 or high conductivity copper, either C101 grade would be preferred where electrical conductivity is an important requirement and copper C106 material for general engineering, heating, plumbing and decorative applications. Copper tube can be supplied in factory random lengths, cut to length, plated or manipulated to specific requirements. Material specifications from which copper tubes are produced in the size range 1/8” o.d. (3.0mm) to 3 ½” o.d. (90.0mm) in wall thickness .010” (0.25mm) to 3/8" (10.0mm) is detailed in the table below.
